I have beam 1. I had it hooked up to a Samsung smart tv.  The tv went went out and I purchased a Sony  43”

smart tv. I had Best Buy install the new tv. Best Buy tech’s  tried to hook up the beam 1 to the Sony tv via hdmi. It would stay on for 10-15 seconds then cut off. They spent about 30minutes trying.  No luck.  Any suggestions. Will the beam 1 work w it’s the new Sony tv or just beam 2.  I would appreciate your help since I spent a lot of money on the beam speaker

Unplug each one for a couple minutes.  Then plug in the Sonos.  Wait for it to appear in the app.  Then plug in the TV.  Sometimes you need to force an HDMI handshake for things to stick, and this procedure does just that.
