Beam 2 with videoprojector

Hello

I would like to connect a Sonos Beam 2 soundbar to a 4K TV decoder and an Optoma H100 video projector. Can I connect the Beam 2 optically to the decoder with the HDMI/optical adapter provided and connect my video projector to the HDMI output of my decoder? Or if I use the HD Fury Arcana will it work?
