I have a Beam 2 that loses connection with my samsung TV randomly.  TV will suddenly start playing out TV speakers.  Beam is Connected via HDMI/eArc. This same TV worked fine with the Playbar until the speaker change.  All firmware is current and the only solve is to disconnect power for a few minutes then power back up.  I’ve swapped HDMI cables to ensure that is not the issue.  This has been happening to plenty of others as I see in this community.  Any help?

There‘s a known CEC connection issue since one of the latest Samsung firmware updates. As far as I know Sonos is staying in contact with samsung for this, but it depends on Samsung to solve this with an update. 


Until Samsung fix CEC you can switch to optical to avoid the problem.


Disable CEC on all other HDMI devices or use a CEC-blocker adapter.

Put the Samsung into standby; don’t power it right off.
