ARC connection Beam Gen2 not working

When turning on tv there is no sound coming of out the beam. I have to connect the HDMI cable from BEAM to a non-arc port on TV and wait 10 sec. Then connect back to ARC connection to get BEAM sound to work.and get the tv to rekocnice the input.

Does anyone have a solution for this. Is seems it could be the that the beam is not recognized by the arc port in TV.

Check your TV for firmware updates, and apply them. Then, unplug your TV and the Beam from power for five minutes, then plug them back in, which will force them both to reboot. Check the Sonos for updates as well. 
 

If this doesn’t help, when you post back, it might be helpful to know which make and model of TV you are dealing with, along with which year it was manufactured. You may also want to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
