I am getting a whine in the background using beam soundboard connected to my Samsung tv. It is connected via hmdi to the tv. Any ideas out there

Please submit a diagnostic report from your Sonos system for us to check. Just include the confirmation number in your response so that we can look up the information.
Also, kindly provide the make and model of your TV and the devices connected to it to check compatibility with Sonos.
