Hi everyone,

Recently purchased a Beam and two One SL's which I understand are rear speakers.

My living room is pretty small so there aren't many ways I can position the rears. Attached is a photo. Could I just place them on the bookshelf beside each other? I don't know how far apart they have to stand.

The shelf I am planning on placing them is more or less on ear height, a bit higher.

Any input is appreciated!

Cheers,

PP

I'd place them at ear height if possible, on both sides of the couch or on the wall behind (say a couch-wide distance from each other).

Thanks for your advice. So it's best to drill some floating shelves into the wall?

I don't have space behind the couch otherwise I'd place two standards for the speakers there.

Yes. Sonos sells these: https://www.sonos.com/nl-nl/shop/accessories/speaker-shelves. I use these https://www.flexson.nl/product/sonos-one-set-muurbeugels-wit/

In your picture I see the wall behind your couch is not flat but has some recesses. Trueplay can help in overcoming disadvantages in placement of the speakers.

Nice! I'm going to order those in black! Thanks again for your input.
