Has anyone figured out a way to use TV Ears (or something similar) with a playbar?
Not sure I understand. TV (rabbit) ears, in my parlance, are used as antennas, to receive a signal. The PLAYBAR is a speaker, which plays the sound coming out of the optical port on your TV set. Can you give more detail to your question?
The curse of autocorrect in an attempt to type ‘eARC’?. If so, then there is no way to use eARC with the Playbar.
Google is your friend.
It looks like one would need a digital version, and use an optical splitter (ideally an active one) to send the signal to both the Playbar and the basestation simultaneously.
One would assume the TV would have to be set to PCM Stereo output.
High John B, god I’ve missed you big fella
Well done ratty, rather than assume everyone else is wrong or not as smart as you, you took a breath, paused and fraught the urge to be the first smarty pants to respond.

TV Ears are a device for amplifying TV audio for folks with hearing issues. This is just one brand--there are several others available. They also allow the wearer to mute the TV audio for everyone except the one wearing the device.
