It has been requested in dozens of threads. Since Sonos doesn’t present a roadmap of what they’re planning on doing in upcoming releases, there is no indication as to whether they intend to do so, or not.
+1 for this, 2 sonos subs that would be great to have
+1 agreed. Should not have to buy another Sonos speaker or amp to do this as a group. Ideally, should also be allowed to adjust the crossover, delay and level of each sub in the group.
Not sure if any of you have been paying attention to the app, but this is now supported.

I have and it is, but only if one of the Subs is Gen 3 and only with HT/Amp products. A step in the right direction but still not quite there.
Can I ask, what is the benefit of two Subs?
For larger or irregular shaped rooms, provides more evenly distributed bass in all listening areas. Some also just want more bass.
Ok. Thanks. There’ll be more bass, but it wont go deeper?
If you’re asking if it will go deeper (lower Hz) by adding another sub, no. How deep the speaker will go is a function of the design and components.
That said, the deeper end will be more pronounced with two subs. And, if connected to an Amp, you’re able to control the crossover frequency and level. I have my 2-Sub setup at 60Hz which provides an accentuated deep end without the mudiness.
