Hi, can I ask if it's possible to link Sonos One speakers to a standard (rather than a smart) tv?

No it is not possible without other Sonos equipment involved. One of the products that comes with a 'line in'.

Also, it does not matter if the tv is smart or standard. Smart tvs typically mean that it can stream video directly, without an attached device. It does not have anything to do with the tvs ability to transmit audio signal wirelessly.

The Sonos Playbar and Playbase are the speakers intended to be hooked to TV (toslink digital out from TV). A play:5 could be hooked to analog output of a TV.
