Hi Sonos Staff,

Do you have diagnostics tools that I can use to analyze a Dolby Atmos bitstream?

I’d like to check the Atmos bitstream that’s streaming, bitrate and output channel configuration.

At the moment i only have the Sonos S2 app that tells me if the stream is Dolby Atmos or not under System Settings. It would be great if I could get deeper level logs into the playback sessions.

I’m looking for tools that give me advanced level logging on the device primarily Non-atmos  to Atmos Transitions, Stereo PCM output bitrates, DD and DD+ transitions, Airplay and Google Cast use cases.

Thanks,
Abhay

The Sonos app will show you the codec type in the About page, that is as good as you will get. You can write code (just subscribe to the UPnP event for the AVTransport1) to see whenever that changes, but there is nothing more advanced available than that.
