Hi, I have a Sonos ray connected to 2x Sonos era100 connected as surround sound the rear audio continues to stutter I have changed distance settings as found in other posts which makes no difference is there something simple that I’m missing?

Update….after speaking to the ‘live chat’ who were amazingly helpful they pointed out that the connection setting for the ray should be Wi-Fi enabled even though connected to router, this enables rear speakers to connect seamlessly

That is a common problem, for some reason Sonos labeled that setting “Turn off WiFi” but that is NOT what it does, it turns off the internal radio. The radio that creates the low-latency 5 GHz private link to the Sub and Surrounds to allow seamless sound.

Also, they won’t change that label even after years of problems and user complaints.

You would think that if this was such a common problem there would be more posts on the community to help others..hence why I posted my update
