So my Sony XBR55 X900E will only send audio through the built in speakers. I have a HD Fury setup with AppleTV 4K, Nvidia Shield, & Firestick all work like they should. Is this proper or did I mess something up?

In your TV settings, do you have Speakers set to “Audio System” and Bravia Sync (CEC) enabled? And have you run the TV Setup process in the Sonos app?
Deleted, misread the post.

When I run the TV Setup process in the Sonos app it just hangs on the screen showing plugging the HDMI cable into arc. Won’t go passed there. There is no audio when set to Audio System On TV speakers do I have audio.
How does the app content from the TV get to the HD Fury? Are you running another HDMI cable from the ARC connection on the TV to the input on the ARC, as shown in the documentation on the HD Fury website?
Specifically, this:
This setup will allow the transfer of full audio up to Atmos/TrueHD from several HDMI sources, the ARC signal for audio from the TV, and CEC volume control from the source or TV to SONOS Arc.
Connect all your sources to the HDMI inputs of your HDMI switcher and connect the HDMI switcher output to the Arcana HDMI input.
Connect the Arcana HDMI output to the TV ARC input and the Arcana eARC out to SONOS Arc.
Exactly the way I have it set up!
Sounds like you’ve either got an issue with the TV set, or with the HD Fury Arcana, then.
So I just did a little experiment. I disconnected the Sonos HDMI cable from eArc output on the HD Fury, plugged it into the Arc of the Sony and the audio goes through the sound bar. Bravia Sync is turned on. When I want to watch tv from the Sony I understand how I can see the picture, but where is the audio to go? How is it going to get to the sound bar.
Problems solved! I went to Audio Output and went to Sound Mode Sync turned it on and walla sound works once again as I want it for me. Thanks for all the wonderful input! An amazing group here.
