Hi,

I am setting up a new home with a 5.1 setup in the living room.
The TV is inside a furniture that has a cabinet underneath, and the cabinet doors are slated for ventilation of electronics.
I attached an image of the furniture,I wanted to put the Sub in the cabinet underneath the TV,
But the cabinet is only 35 cm hight, so I can't put it standing.

I was wondering if I can put the Sonos Sub laying flat inside the a cabinet?

I would think so...although I'd also suggest that's not the ideal placement, as the bass would be restricted by the cabinet. Bass is less directional, though, so it might work.

I ended up putting the SUB flat on the floor beneath my couch. Now, when a T-Rex roars, I feel it where I'm sitting :)

The nice thing about a "wireless" SUB is that all you need is a power source. So you can try sticking it in many different places, and see which one works for you, both audibly, and aesthetically.

It is an incredible addition to the system 🙂
