Sonos Setup with multiple hdmi devices

I’m looking to buy some Sonos products but I don’t know where to start?

I have a:

  • A TV with 2 HDMI IN (NO ARC), 1 Digital Audio Out optical out
  • Receiver with 4 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI TV OUT ARC and speaker wire connections.
  • A bluray player HDMI
  • A Nintendo switch HDMI
  • Amazon Fire TV

My old setup I used wired speakers to connect to the receiver but they were built into my old house and I have moved. So I don’t have them anymore.

I want something like the Sonos Beam and maybe another wireless speaker that sits in another room.

 

How does the Sonos speakers take multiple HDMI Inputs? Do I need another Sonos product? A new TV? A new receiver?

Your best plan is a new TV with four HDMI inputs, One of the HDMI’s should be an HDMI-ARC port.

Thank you. I figured I need something like that. And if I add more devices I would need a hdmi switch...
