Sonos playbase without a TV
Can I connect a Sonos Playbase with my other sonos speakers just for music or do I have to have it connected to a tv to use it?

No TV needed. Depending on the room, I think 2 play 3's in a stereo pair would be a better option and $100 cheaper.
I would like to play a karaoke player with optical output to connect to a playbase. Is there a problem?
+26Shouldn't be a problem. The PLAYBASE will default play whatever is connected to the optical input, though you will probably need an IR remote to complete the setup process.
