I’m considering the Beam Soundbar for my covered patio TV. On both side of the TV I have  Polk Audio speakers run by a Sonos Connect Amp. If I install the Beam to my TV, will the two Polk speakers group with the Beam giving me center channel in the Beam and left right channels on the Polk speakers?  My TV does not have an ARC output so I will be using the optical audio out to the Beam.

The Beam alone is a 3.0 soundbar that includes the center, left front, and right front channels. It cannot function as only a center channel speaker. If you have the Beam and Polk Audio speakers grouped together, you would have center, left front, and right front channels from the Beam and a L/R stereo pair from the Polk Audio speakers. And you will probably experience a slight delay from the Polk Audio speakers compared to the Beam.

Thank you for clarifying this.
