Hi there,

Recentely I bought the Sonos Beam gen 2 soundbar for my LG C1 tv. I connected it with a HDMI ARC cable and I made it surround with my two SonoS one's. The moment I wanted to experience the Dolby Atmos, I figured Netflix is only showing me Dolby Vision and no Dolby Atmos. The moment I unplug the soundbar Netflix is showing Dolby Atmos (since my tv supports this). I wonder if I am doing something wrong, but I thought Netflix would show me Atmos with this setup. Can somebody help me with this or explain why this isn't working?

If you need any more information, let me know!

Thank you in advance!

maybe Corry P can light a fire under Sonos’s ass to fix arc/sub issue with no sub sound without turning true play off.paid top dollar for this setup….Not happy been more than a month

I believe turn DTS off or disable should fix it had this issue on my Sony 900e with the arc

Hi,

I am also facing the same issue. My configurations is

1. Netflix HD ultra account type

  1. google chrome cast
  2. Sony TV
  3. Sonos Beam Gen 2
  4. good chrome cast is connected to hdmi port
  5. sonos is connected to hdmi arc

when watching YouTube videos, Sonos app says Dolby 5.1. For Netflix it says stereo pcm. Would like to understand how to fix this ?
