Sonos Arc to Xbox One Settings

I am trying to hook my Sonos Arc to my Xbox one S. I  have an HDMI running to a projector. Since the projector is on the back wall and the Xbox (hidden behind screen), and the Sonos speaker are on the front wall, I am trying to run audio straight from

the Xbox to the Arc. I used the provided HDMI to S/PDIF to connect the speaker to the Xbox but I can’t figure out in the Xbox settings to send video through the HDMI to the projector, and audio through the S/PDIF to the Arc. Help!

It sounds like you have the right idea, so what happens? Do you get any video, or any audio? What Xbox Audio settings are you using? From memory it should be set to Bitstream output, but my gear is disconnected right now so cannot verify.
