Hi all,

 

So I purchased the LG OLED55GX and was really keen to set it up. However, I'm gutted that it's currently not connecting to my Sonos arc.

 

The cables are plugged in to the correct slot (E-Arc). On the TV, it says that nothing is plugged into the second HDMI port. On the app when I go to setup, it says HDMI arc not detected.

 

Has anybody experienced this and come across a fix?

As a guess, the CEC in the settings of the TV haven’t been turned on. 

Or, if they have, I’d first check for software updates on the TV, then unplug both the TV and the Arc from the wall for five minutes. Plug the TV back in, and give it a couple of minutes to fully reboot, then plug back in the Arc.
