When i play an episode of a tv series from my plex, the sound will not work on the Sonos soundbar. After 1 or 2 seconds it is not playing anymore, if I switch to TV speakers it's ok. The red light is showing on the end of the cable Soundbar side.

The Soundbar works ok with the tv and via Spotify.

Anybody an idea??
Although it probably isn't a factor, which soundbar do you have, a playbar or a beam? What model TV are you using?



When playing your TV show, what sound format are you receiving? You can check by going into the Sonos app, then selecting the "More" tab, followed by "About Sonos System" (something like that). On the resulting page, you should your soundbar room/zone listed. It should say that it's receiving stereo or dolby digital normally.
I'd agree with melvimbe. It's most likely that the Plex signal is in something other than Dolby Digital, or Stereo.
