Playbar issues with Vizio OLED?

So I just managed to get a Vizio OLED at a really, really, really good price. I've been using my Playbar for three, three and a half years now with no issue. I have the TV set to optical, surround sound settings turned on, the bar's programmed to the remote, optical cable is fully plugged in on both ends, and yet I have zero sound out of the Playbar. Am I stupid and missing something, or what?



Edit: I turned off dialogue enhancer in the TV menu and now I have sound. Go figure.
