Can anyone tell me if I can use playbar and sub then two play 5s as surround sound speakers?
App doesn't give me the option...

Yes, you can use Sub and two Play:5’s hence, only products of the same model can be used together as surround speakers.
Here is the list of Sonos products that can be used as surround speakers:
- One (all generations) and One SL
- Play:1
- Play:3
- Play:5 (Gen 2)
- Five
- IKEA SYMFONISK WiFi bookshelf speaker
- IKEA SYMFONISK table lamp with WiFi speaker
- Amp powering third party speaker
- Connect:Amp powering third party speaker
