I have arc with sub gen3 .. can sub mini paired as 2nd sub to arc home theater setup ?
i’ve heard at present its not possible..
any news on upcoming software update may allow this combination?

Correct that it cannot be done currently and Sonos rarely announces software upgrades in advance. I would be surprised if they ever will be possible, to be honest. I think Sonos would rather you just get a 2nd full sub, I don’t think they would work too well together as one is ported and the other is sealed, and that would require potentially a lot of testing and development to work properly.
