Is the projector port HDMI eARC/ARC?
If not try using the optical adapter from the projector’s optical out.

The projector isn’t the problem though, unfortunately, as the sound isn’t being fed into it - just the picture.
I think it’s a problem with the Blu-ray player not supplying an ARC formatted sound signal to the Sonos?
