New sonos beam
I just set up my new Sonos Beam to my Sony Bravia tv, when I go to watch tv or a movie, the sound only comes out of the sonos beam and not that loud. Should the sound come from both my tv and sonos beam? I have plugged the HDMI ARC cable in correct ports.

No, the sound should only come from the Beam. Check to see if the HDMI-ARC is set to variable or full output. You may have dueling volumes.
