Hi there,
I used to have 5.1.2 setup with Sonos arc and two play 1’s, but since I moved recently, the play 1’s aren’t really an option anymore. So I was wondering a few things.
1. Is it possible to use Sonos Arc + Sub alongside a Sonos Amp + two in-ceiling speakers, and use the in-ceiling speakers as left/right behind the couch in my home theatre setup?
2. Is it possible to have the same amp connected to another pair of in-ceiling or wall speakers for instance in the living room, and while running a movie on the home theatre sound setup, to be playing music on these? Or would I need another amp for that?
I hope you can clarify for me :-)
All the best.

- Yes. See the setting up Amp or CONNECT:AMP as surround speakers FAQ.
- No. You’d need another Amp. The Sonos Amp only supports one “output” at a time, in order to get a second stream of anything, you’d need a second Amp.
