Where it's been a few weeks since you made this post about your PLAYBASE, I wanted to see if you still needed any help. If so I'd like to gather a bit more information about the distorted/muffled sound.
Does the audio quality problem happen when using external sources (e.g. Time Warner DVR, Sony Blu-Ray player, Apple TV etc.), apps built into the TV, or both? Have you noticed the issue when playing music from the Sonos app to the PLAYBASE or just with TV shows and movies? Is your PLAYBASE's optical audio cable connected directly to your TV, or is it going to another device?
