Hi,

Sure this will be an easy one, and thanks in advance for the info.…

I recently bought a beam, 2 x ones (will get the sub soon)

I have one “one” in the lounge, other on the kitchen bar, as open plan / linked rooms….I like hearing the TV whilst prepping dinner, but I am going to put the kitchen one in the lounge so the surround is being utilized and sounds better. But here’s the question…..

I want to buy another “one” for the kitchen, but will I be able to listen / hear the TV output even though it won’t be part of the beam 5.1 surround set up?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can “group” the new One in the kitchen with the Beam/Sub/Ones and the TV audio will play out of all of your speakers. You may experience a very slight audio delay out of the One in the kitchen though.

Thank you very much.

I am sure I can handle the very slight delay.

do you mean group as “one room” then?

No, the One will be associated with the “Kitchen” while the Beam/Sub/Ones will be associated with the “Lounge” You will then group both rooms together.
