I plan on wall mounting my Arc above a (non-functioning) old-time looking wood burning stove.
I saw in the wall mount instructions that four inches are recommended on top of the Arc, below the bottom of the TV.
My question is, how much space is recommended BELOW the Arc? How close to the top of the stove can I mount the unit without adversely affecting the sound quality?
Thanks!

Since part of the design of the Arc is to sit comfortably on a cabinet, and there are no downward firing speakers as a result, I don’t think it makes much difference how much space is below the Arc.
Hi @jzwerl02. Welcome to the Sonos community and Thanks for sharing your inquiry about mounting the Sonos Arc.
I do agree with @Airgetlam there are no specifics on what the distance is below the Sonos Arc as there is in fact no downward-firing speakers that may be affected by the distance of the Sonos Arc towards the bottom of any object you place below it.
Here is the link on the complete Sonos Arc Set up and it clearly does not indicate any restrictions and/or limitations on how the Sonos Arc be placed/positioned.
Please let us know if you have further concerns and we’ll be glad to assist.
Thanks,
Paul A,
