Hi,

 

After 2-3 seconds my TV speakers automatically take over the output from my TV and not the Beam. If I alter the volume on the Sonos app it will turn on the Beam as the TV output but again only for a few seconds before reverting back. 

 

When the Beam isn't playing, it's not an option as audio output on the TV. 

What is your TV model?


Seems like a failure of HDMI-ARC. Try first updating the software on your TV, then unplug the TV from the wall for 2 minutes. While the TV is unplugged, do the same to the Beam. Plug the TV back in and test.
