Hi

 

I have an issue 

I no longer have the option of switching back to the TV speakers SONY KD65AF9, when I activate the TV speakers, the sound works for 2 seconds then systematically switches back to the Arc.I want to activate the Arc only when I watch a movie for example but not permanently

The answer from SONOS is to remove the cable and put it back when I want to use ARC but it’s not really a solution.

Unfortunately, that’s the way ARC is designed to function. Sonos is just using the spec as designed by others. In your case, you could lose some extended functionality by going to an optical connection, using the adapter that Sonos has, and the just turn off the optical output when you wanted to use the TV’s speakers, but as long as you’re using CEC and HDMI ARC, it’s set up to use only the connected set of speakers, I.e. the Sonos.
