We are using Samsung 4K TV and a sonos playbar. The optical output from the TV is PCM 2.0. Is there a work around for this?
An hdmi switcher with optical out to handle all your devices or hook fiber optic cable direct to source component.
Hi, all -

Just purchased a Playbar and stupidly assumed that my modern TV had an optical out. Would the following be an adequate workaround with 5.1?

If it matters, TV is a Vizeo VIZP702VI-B3

Also have an Onkyo Receiver with an unused Optial out (TX-NR737)

Appreciate it!
