I just bought a Sonos Arc and I’m beginning to realize it’s not well suited to high end installations. I have the Arc installed under my 85” Samsung Frame TV with the Frame’s One Connect box about 12 feet away. The challenge this creates is that the included HDMI cable is only long enough for low-end direct proximity installations. I’ve tested several 15 foot ARC-compatible HDMI cables, each resulting in the inability for the Sonos app to recognize the connection (the Arc worked when brought the One Connect Box closer and used the provided HDMI cable).
Has anyone had any luck bypassing this issue? Any HDMI cable recommendations that have worked? Want to give this a fair shot before I return it and upgrade to the Bose 900 which in my testing doesn’t seem to be as finicky about HDMI length.
