Hello Newbie here,

I have recently been purchasing Sonos speakers to create a home cinema sound system

This is what I have so far

1 pair of One SL’s

Sub Gen 3

Arc

LG OLED TV (with eARC socket)

Android Sonos app

The Arc was the most recent purchase, which seems to have changed the app to S2 (whatever that is)

How do I get all the speakers in a single group, so that they all play together from whatever is being played on the TV.

TIA

So, set up the Arc as being connected to your TV.

Then you can “add a device” to get the SUB connected to the Arc.

I think you need to set up the Sonos Ones SLs as a separate pair of rooms first, but once you have done that, you can then add them as “surround speakers” to the room that is the home theater room.

If your previous purchases were set up as S1 devices, you’ll need to update them from S1 to S2 (operating system) first, but I don’t think that any of them should be set up that way, they should already be S2 devices.  The SUB and the pair of One SLs certainly should be S2.

FWIW, this is all fairly simply done by following the instructions in the controller on your Android device, assuming everything is current.

Add the Sub to the Arc:

Then add the One SLs as surrounds to the Arc:
