I have a Sonos Beam, and I have connected a pair of Play 3's as surround speakers. I now want to connect a pair of Play 1's to use as rear channel surround sound speakers. There doesn't seem to be anyway to do this? It looks like one one pair of speakers can be connected, and then only as the rear channel surround sound speakers. How can I accomplish this to have a Beam as the center channel, a pair of Play 3's as the front channel, and a pair of Play 1's as the rear channel?

You can't

The bean handles both the center and Front left and right channels.
The pair of 1's or 3's can be bonded for the rear left and right channels.

It's the way the system is designed to work.

There is a possibility of using the new sonos amp for front left and right with a phantom centre but you'll then need a second amp for the rear. But I don't think that suits yiur needs.
