I am planning to set up Sonos Sub + Sonos Amp + HiFi bookshelves.

Is there a possibility of purchasing a Graphic Equalizer and via Amp EQing the system's sound? Most importantly frequency range of 1k-9k, mainly treble. If I can EQ the Sub that's great but my main goal is EQing the speakers.

Thanks.

There’s a built in basic tone control EQ + loudness. You can’t insert an external equaliser into the audio path, unless you simply feed the Amp an analog signal via the RCA Line-In jacks.

The Sub has a separate level adjustment.

Thank you. I do know about the normal EQ control and Sub level. I am talking about per frequency EQ cut/boost.

I am using the setup via HDMI to TV. So it can't be done at all? I assume feeding the Amp via line in you mean with a turntable and such?

As I say, there’s no way to insert a graphic equaliser for streaming sources or the TV input.

If you had an external analog source -- like a turntable for example -- you could obviously process the sound through an external EQ before it’s input though the Line-In.
