Does Sonos Arc and Sub Gen 3 have 5gz WiFi?

Hi

As title, does the sonos arc and sub gen 3 support 5ghz wifi?

If they do can someone explain how I would switch to this, currently have both setup on the 2.4ghz wifi, Im sure I read that the gen 3 sub supports 5ghz, so presumed the ARC would as well.

The Sub supports 5GHz, but usually only for a direct connection to a home theatre master player. In your case that’s the Arc.

Sub Gen 3 can connect to a 5GHz WiFi, but only in non home theatre contexts.

Arc can only connect to 2.4GHz WiFi because its 5GHz radio is used to talk to its satellites, for example your Sub.
