Crackling sound

We just got a playbar and I keep getting a crackling sound when playing through television. I don’t get the sound when playing music. I have replaced the optical cable twice now. I just submitted a diagnostic; number is 8327905

I have the same thing happening to my playbar and it’s super annoying and it’s making us regret not going with Bose.

I am having the crackling sound with a brand new PlayBase connected directly to my television. I am not using a sub or surround speakers. I just submitted diagnostics 8344200. I have power-cycled the unit without any change. Reading through all the postings here I see lots of reports of this crackling noise when using TV audio. Is there a solution?
