Dear all,
I just bought a Panasonic DX802 (TX-50DX802B) TV and would like to connect it to my Sonos system such that I can hear the TV audio through my Sonos speakers.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Andrew

It depends what Sonos units you have and what the TV offers.
PLAYBAR is designed to work with a TV, has low latency to maintain lip-sync, and accepts an optical connection.
Some Sonos units accept an analog Line-In, but introduce a small (~70ms) delay to the sound.

Thanks Ratty, I have 2 Play 1s and a Play 5 currently. Would the Sonos Connect work for that purpose? If so, I could buy that.
You could use a CONNECT, but as I say there's a small delay through the system which may jar if you're sensitive to lip-sync errors.
As an experiment, hook a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm cable between the TV's headphone outlet and your existing PLAY:5's Line-In. See if it works for you.
