I own a Samsung Smart TV and a Sonos Playbar. We're in the process of remodeling our basement and I'm wondering if the Playbar can be connected in a totally wireless manner to the TV. As things are moving around there won't be a place to conceal the Playbar which is a must for us. Can this be connected through the WIFI perhaps? I know this is probably a "no" but I wanted to ask.

Technically, maybe. Not easily.
Without doing some googling to support my supposition, if there were some sort of "optical to wifi to optical" device out there, you could do that, and carry the signal from your TV to the Playbar/Playbase. But as for a straight "take a wifi from the TV and connect the Playbar/Playbase to it to get sound, the answer is no.
