I recently bought the Sonos Playbar, Sub, and Sony XBR65900E 4k TV, a Sony UBPX800 Blue-ray Player and an Apple 4k TV. What is the best way to connect these devices to obtain optimal sound and video?

Sonos Playbar is meant to be hooked to the optical out of the TV (we are going to assume the Sony TV properly passes DD 5.1). The BluRay Player and Apple 4k TV all connect via HDMI to TV.
The bluray player should hopefully be able to convert DTS to DD (in settings need to make all audio output DD compatible) see article http://www.bigpicturebigsound.com/How-to-Get-5-1-Dolby-Surround-Sound-from-a-SONOS-PlayBar.shtml
