I use Alexa via my Arc. I always want it on. Unfortunately it regularly gets disabled by my dog or when it is cleaned because of the touch control. Is there any way to retain Alexa functionality but stop this button turning it off? Or must I disable it and buy a separate Alexa device?!

Weirdly disabling touch controls for the Arc doesn’t disable the mic touch control. I even tried electricians tape over the button but it doesn’t block the finger tap being detected.

Currently, there isn’t a way to disable the mic button on the Arc. Your best option would be to remove Alexa on the Arc and get a separate Echo device. IMO, using Alexa on an Echo device works MUCH better than using Alexa on Sonos.

Ok thank you.
