We have problems with Beam and TV Sony KD49XH8596. For only TV audio ( no music streaming, no control by App ), we found that the problem is solved deactivating  wifi from Beam. 

Anyone else had found this method working?

That’s very strange, as networking has nothing to do with playback of TV audio. What was the issue you were experiencing?

Indeed we had installed a lot of Beam without networking. This time we experienced many issues :

volume goes up without any action on the remote/ audio disapperas/ all problems via ARC or optical

The strange thing is that the tv and the Beam in our shop work fine.

That is weird, to say the least. And disabling WiFi fixed it?

If you only use your Beam for TV audio and aren’t really bothered about the other features, then fair enough.

If, however, you want the Beam to be fully functional, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports - they would, for example, be able to tell where the volume commands were coming from - the TV, a remote, a smartphone, a button press, etc.
