Arc turns my tv off overnight

I have just upgraded from a playbar to an Arc, connected via hdmi to a Sony 65ag8 oled tv.

Since conecting this, I find that my tv is turned off (from standby) overnight. If I unplug the ARC,  the tv stays in standby.

I have checked all the settings on the tv and arc, but can't find anything about switching off overnight.

Anyone else found this, or can offer a solution

I think there will be a setting on the TV, even though you say you cannot find it.  I would look into Sony’s HDMI-CEC settings, which I think Sony call ‘Bravia Sync’.

This might also be something to do with the "Idle TV standby” in Power settings, which may need to be switched off, but I would check with Sony Support first.

The only options are

Auto devices off, which is not selected

Auto tv on, which needs to be on for my tv to turn on with my sky box.

It seems strange that it only turns it from standby to off overnight, not during the day even if it is left for a long period.

Idle tv standby is set to off.
