Hi, I have a Sonos Arc which has been situated above an ethanol fireplace (i.e. not as much heat as regular or gas fire) and I’m curious to know please:

1 - heat tolerance of Sonos Arc? Are there any guidelines?

2 - from the picture, does this seem like an appropriate distance?

3 - are there any solutions you can suggest if necessary?

Thanks

Your Arc seems to be slightly set in, so perhaps any heat will not heat it directly.

Operating Temperature

32° F to 104° F (0° C to 40° C)

Storage Temperature

-4° F to 122° F (-20° C to 50° C)

I think that the TV would be more fragile than ARC and certainly the TV and stone face would suffer more from smoke.

I wouldn’t worry if the fireplace is properly installed, operated, and maintained.
