Arc Dialogue vs Action or Music

I upgraded from the Beam to the Arc but the dialogue vs action on the Arc is abysmal. I tried turning loudness off, turned speech enhancement on, tried night setting, nothing helped. Now I sit with my remote control in my hand adjusting volume scene by scene.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I don’t own any Apple products so Trueplay is not an option (nor should I need a 3rd party solution).

Please help!

Have you adjusted the EQ settings? You could borrow an iPhone or an iPad and do the Trueplay tuning. Or you can check if your TV or media device has a volume leveling feature that lowers the dynamic range of the audio.
