Does the Sonos Arc work fine with the LG cx Oled, including lip sync issues and sound issues? Before I spend 2k on the tv and soundbar.

Some LG CX owners have experienced some issues with the Arc. If you search “LG CX Arc” in these forums, you can read about some of the problems people have experienced.


Thanks, I’ve read the issues but wanted to know if they have been resolved. Can’t seem to find confirmation of this anywhere, which is concerning.


Are there any LG CX and Sonos Arc users that can give the OP some feedback?


I haven’t had any issues with my lg cx, arc and apple tv 4k after the updates.

I’m another who had occasional complete dropouts, mostly when switching between sources.

Since installing  3.21.16 firmware on the LG CX last week, I have not experienced any dropouts.

I’m still not settled in that Im 100% sure its fixed, I’m just going off results since I installed the firmware, I still prey that it will not drop when I switch sources!!, it had been happening for so long without a fix that I’m still not completely confident.

But as I said results since firmware are very promising that it is indeed fixed and with other users reporting the same it’s very encouraging.

I take you also had sound drops before installing the latest 3.21.16 on CX.


Many thanks for you information, sounds like the issues may now be resolved and hopefully I’m not taking a risk purchasing the LG cx to pair with the Sonos soundbar.


I did have the drop offs as well and they are fixed. I also no longer have the initial pop either. 


What is your source device? That may also have an impact on how well the Beam works with the CX. Hopefully its not a Sky Q box, for example.
