In my living room I have 5.0 sound
BEAM = 3.0
play1 X2 surround = 5.0
And it's Amazing
But I would like to experience the SUB and take the advantage of 2 Play1 for other rooms .
So I was thinking to remove the 2 Play1 in other rooms
And put a SUB with the BEAM in the living room to get 3.1 Sound
Any comments ???

OK, maybe one. Why not leave the two PLAY:1s in place and create a true 5.1, and get a couple of PLAY:1s or Sonos Ones to put elsewhere?

If you can spare $200, get the 2x of the new IKEA-Sonos Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers ($100 each). Put 1s someplace other, and use the bookshelf speakers as rears for home theater. 1s are probably overkill as it is :)
That way, you get multi-room audio, and you get to keep enjoying the full surround sound.
