I watched my shows last night with my Sonos Ace so that my wife is not bothered with the sound. Worked perfectly!

The headphones were so comfortable I ended up falling asleep with them on. This is the second time this happened.

With that, I woke up to a completely dead pair of headphones which isn’t the worst thing in the world. Quick charge got them ready for my day pretty quickly.

I’m probably an outlier and there are other patches/fixes to work on but in the future, can we get a “sleep” feature for the headphones akin to the sleep feature on tvs?

Thanks!

I try to fully charge mine up before I start a session where I might doze off, music goes on pause after a while but the noise cancellation doesn’t run out of power before I wake up.

I agree that ACE is comfortable and I can fall asleep.

How should ACE determine that you’ve fallen asleep and not waiting for a phone call?

I have a very noisy air conditioner that I’ll block out with the noise cancellation, but won’t necessarily be listening to any content. I’d rather not have the noise cancellation terminate if ACE thinks I’ve gone to sleep.

was just hoping for a sleep feature that I can turn on just like the tv…

“sleep” for 30 min, 60 min, 90 min…

hoping that isn’t that big of a software ask

Asking here isn’t a problem, hopefully some Staff person will see it and put it in the system for consideration.

If you want to be sure it is added to the “possible future features” list a call is your best bet.

Hey @Troy McClure,

Welcome to the Sonos Community and thank you for the suggestion.

I guess us here are all “guilty” of falling asleep with the Ace on 😴😅

I’m not using it for TV but podcasts and music, and the apps I use for that have a sleep timer - that comes in handy. Indeed a setting for the Ace itself would be better though and it’s been added to my report.

Great idea, keep them coming!
