No queue when playing song via Google assistant

I'm using Sonos roam and Google assistant. Previously when using Google home mini, whenever I asked him to play one specific song, he automatically started a radio/queue and kept playing similar songs.

When I ask Google assistant on Sonos roam to play a song he makes no queue. Just plays this one song and stops. Any suggestions?

Hi @Masap,

 

This entirely depends on the exact command given as well as the music service being triggered. Some music services will perform like you’ve described - you ask for one song, it plays one song.

Which music service is it, and what is the exact command you’re giving Google Assistant to start playback?

Thanks for your reply. I have been using YouTube music and my command is simple. For example: Hey Google, play All I want for Christmas is you :)
